If something unexpected happens, you might need to cancel your booking. We’ll always try as hard as we can to refund you the entire trip cost. In cases when we can’t, we’ll only charge as much as we need to make up for the time the car was booked and unavailable for other potential renters. Generally, the refund amount depends on when the cancellation occurs in relation to the beginning of the trip. There are always exceptions, but here’s a good guideline of when situations when you will and when you won’t be charged for canceling a trip:
- Your reservation is completely refundable if canceled more than 24 hours before it begins.
- For cancellations less than 24 hours but more than 1 hour before a reservation begins, 50% of the total price will be refunded.
- Your reservation will not be refunded if canceled within 1 hour of its start time or after it has already started.
